Final 4 hour illustration. Painted with acrylics, inspired by Alex Pardee. It's not quite finished yet, gonna go back in and add some more detail on Monday :) funfunfun!
I'll upload better quality pictures when I'm absolutely finished, but for now:

Life Drawing - The Saga Begins.

For the last week, the class has been partaking in life drawing classes. I've really enjoyed learning new techniques and being forced out of my comfort zone. We started out on Monday doing some 5 minute practice poses with charcoal, followed by longer poses contained within shapes.
Today was more focused on experimental techniques. We started off by doing some poses using charcoal tied to the end of a long stick. Really difficult.
We then did some motion poses with ink and sticks. Really enjoyed these. They started off with 5 minute poses, gradually getting faster. The one on the right has some 5 second poses in there somewhere.

We finished up with some 'custom' poses we requested. The lying down ones were more difficult than they looked. Again these are various times.

Think it's about time for an innuendo.

So after tragedy struck last Wednesday (My hard drive got into a bit of an accident, and I ended up losing the majority of my work - tip for the future - when somebody says 'make sure you backup your work'..... DO IT.) I seem to have pulled something together that may just scrape me a pass, inbetween wroking on a daytime and animating on a night. Luckily my assets were traditionally drawn in my sketchbook, so I didn't have to redo those, and an earlier test file for one of my characters was still on my laptop to work from.
ANYWHO I have a test for my male character. It's just about the time he notices the fembot (she gets his oils flowin' - if you know what I'm sayin'.)

I haven't included a facial expression change. Because I forgot. Forgive me.
